Seahorse terms and condition of fees 2024.

A registration fee of £100.00 will be taken on Application / booking place at Seahorse, this is non-refundable.
There is a discount of 5% for families with ten sessions or more.
The hourly rate is £8.00 per hour for those who require an extra hour.
Extra sessions must be paid for prior, when booking i.e. if you require an extra day; you must send payment into manager beforehand in a sealed envelope with your child’s name clearly marked. We do not allow swapping of sessions as this is not fair to those for example off sick, as we require absences to be paid for.
We reserve the right to increase the fees but will always give one calendar months’ notice.
Funding
Please note if your child claims funding at Seahorse nursery, you cannot cancel the place here or move to another funded setting till the end of each term. This is an East Lothian council policy.
We are a pre-school partner provider with East Lothian council, therefore eligible children may apply for a grant for a funded place.
Seahorse nursery has 3 options for 1140 funded hours.
- Option one is 28.5 hours over 40 weeks (school term time).
- Option two is 22.8 hours over 50 weeks.
- Option three is a blended model with a funded provider such as East Lothian nursery or childminder. This should be discussed with the relevant provider.
Payment
Payment is required one month in advance, on the 1st of each month. We cannot care for your child if the fees are not paid and reserve the right to refuse entry.
